biography

Karen Glossop was born in Toronto, Canada and came to the UK when she was 9 years old. After reading Classics at Cambridge University, she trained in acting at Mountview. She has worked as a copy editor and writer for the Virgin Encyclopedia of Popular Music. Since 1997, she has delivered courses which focus on areas such as communication, understanding your audience and making an impact. She lectures regularly in public speaking at City, University of London. She is a Consultant with the Centre For Charity Effectiveness at Cass Business School. In association with Voicecraft, Karen is also an Associate Tutor at London Business School and at Said Business School, Oxford. Karen now combines a career as a training consultant with her work in the theatre as an actor, writer and stage designer. She is co-founder of award-winning theatre company, Wishbone www.wishbonetheatre.co.uk, which tours the UK and internationally.
